Welcome back! I hope your spring break was fantastic! Today we will be re-capping the project we discussed last class period. This project has to be done by the beginning of Wednesdays class, because for this project only, your peers will be giving you a grade.

The snow delay yesterday kept us from beginning our new project. So, today we will be looking at the slides of images from yesterdays blog. Refer to March 21st blog for march 23rds daily assignment. The new warm up can be found here.

Remember we are focusing on ORNATE or HIGHLY DETAILED, either in the letter or around the letter.

We are starting a new project! Today we will be practicing with ornate letters. This will lead into our discussion of illuminated manuscripts. Today we will be working on our sketchbook letter ideas. Refer to the slides for the warm up or project directions.

March 20th

Happy Tuesday! Today we will be silently sketching the work of our daily artist. For warm up or daily artist click here. The rest of the class period will be project work time, depending on how many finish today, this might be our last in class work day.

March 19th

Wake up! Its the last Monday before spring break!Today we will be sketching from a photo-montage from our daily artist.The rest of the class period will be devoted to finishing our realistic drawing. Towards the end of class I will take a tally, if more than half of the class is finished we will begin a new project tomorrow. If less than half are finished, tomorrow will be the last in class day to work.
