April 20th

After yesterday's class period I realized that over a fourth of you need another day to complete your candy watercolors. For those who are done and want extra credit they can create a watercolor painting of yesterday's Cezanne painting. The fun element is that these students get to explore using salt throughout this process.

There will be no warm up today, I will begin class with a demonstration on watercolors and salt.

April 19th

Today will be our last in class day to finish the candy watercolor project. If you have finished the watercolor project I will have the students roughly sketch out the last Cezanne slide, and practice with more watercolor. The fun element with this is that these students get to play around with salt into their watercolor to make interesting effects. Lots of fun!!

April 17th

Today we will finish up our watercolor worksheets. There will be a demo in starting the first wash of our contour candy watercolor's. If absent come in before or after school to get a brief demo.
